Strathmore University

Strathmore is a private university based in Nairobi, Kenya that started in 1961 as Strathmore college.  The vision of Strathmore University is to become a leading out-come driven entrepreneurial research University by translating our excellence into a major contribution to culture, economic well-being and quality of life.

Our mission is to provide all-round quality education in an atmosphere of freedom and responsibility excellence in teaching, research and scholarship, ethical and social development and service to society.  With 16 undergraduate programs, 16 master degrees, PhD programs and several executive training offerings. Strathmore University continues to provide competitive high quality education. This takes place in a diverse student community from 26 different nationalities, and served by staff with a balanced 1:1 representation of men and women from 12 different countries.
